Today my daughter got married!!
Here are the happy couple minutes after the registry office visit.
There were ten of us there today to see them do the 'official' bit; necessary because the little chapel they want to get married in is de-consecrated, so tomorrow they are having a Wedding ceremony - with music, vows, pomp and circumstance, poetry, posh frocks and everything else a bride and groom deserve on their special day.
After today's 'do' we went for lunch, then decorated the chapel for tomorrow with homemade bunting before a rehearsal of the ceremony.
The last few days have been very busy (100 cupcakes decorated - gratefully made by my friend Tracey; darling older relatives collected from the train station and delivered to accommodation; last-minute bridesmaid dress fittings; grey roots dyeing - possibly just me?) and today just flew by.
MW and I are on little-person duty, and all are bathed and in bed for the night.
I'm recouping my energy ready for round two tomorrow!
