For those fans who are ready for Selena Gomez to move on with another man, unfortunately it won't be happening with Niall Horan who apparently "isn't attracted" to the actress and "has no interest in dating her."
Momentarily, it looked like the One Direction star, who has previously been linked to X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato, had a chance with Selena following her rumoured split from Justin Bieber. But after a snap emerged of the reconciled couple kissing on a Christmas break, it would appear all hopes have been dashed.
However a source says that neither Niall or Selena are attracted to one another and have no interests to date.
"Niall and Selena are friendly with each other, but they don’t want to date each other." a source told SugarScape.
"They’re not attracted to each other. And if they were attracted to each other (but they’re not), Niall wouldn’t want to hurt his friendship with Justin by dating Selena. Niall still has a crush on Demi Lovato, who’s been Selena’s friend for a long time. He wouldn’t ruin his chances with Demi by dating Selena."
While Niall may not be the one for Selena, the Wizards of Waverly actress may still have her sights set on a One Direction member, with a source telling HollywoodLife that she would consider dating one of the heartthrobs if her romance with Justin fails again, following in the footsteps of her pal Taylor Swift who is currently enjoying a romance with Harry Styles.
"She has seen what has happened with her friend Taylor and how dating Harry is getting her to get over her relationship with Conor, Selena has said that she wants to start dating someone else to see if there is something better out there," the insider told the website.
"Wouldn’t be surprised if Selena had a double date with Taylor and any of the single One Direction kids if she doesn’t get back with Justin."
