Ginger Tea

If you’re looking for a proper comfort drink as the colder season approaches, you can’t go too far wrong with this cognac-infused ginger tea number. It hits the sweet spot thanks to its alcohol content, but it’s also really rather good for your stomach, thanks to its mint and ginger content.

Here is how to make this ginger iced tea cocktail:

Take half an ounce of syrup and muddle it in a mixing glass with 3 fresh mint leaves and 3 pieces of ginger.

Once you’ve muddled it, add an ounce of cognac and two ounces of freshly brewed green tea.

Then, strain into a glass filled with ice before garnishing with mint leaves. Delightful!

Royal Tea

Who wants to have a normal cup of tea when you can have a glass of royal iced tea?!

This iced tea cocktail recipe combines a girls two best friends – tea and gin – to perfect effect. It’s a winning combo that was only created as recently as 2007. Perfect for an afternoon of tea and cake, it’s so British – and so brilliant.

Here’s the recipe for Royal tea:

Pour 2 parts gin, 2 parts brewed and chilled Earl Grey tea and a spoonful of sugar into an ice-filled glass. To make this as authentic and as British as possible, make sure that the glass is suitably old fashioned.

Then, stir well before garnishing with lime wheels and serving.

Summer Peach Tea

If it’s summer where you are right now, you’ll want to cool off with a refreshing glass of iced tea.

This particular iced tea cocktail recipe is ideal for fruit lovers who want a taste of peach when they’re patched.

And when we say peach, we mean peach schnapps – of course!!

Here’s the recipe for summer peach tea:

First, toss some ice into a highball glass. Then, add an ounce of whisky, four ounces of iced tea lemon and an ounce of peach schnapps.

Stir before garnishing with a lemon wedge.

And then drink!

Kentucky Tea

The fab thing about this tea is that it’s just so simple yet so tasty – just how we like it!

It’s basically mint tea with a shot of eucalyptus and lemon.

To make it, all you need to do is take an old-fashioned glass and pour in some crushed ice. Then, add 2 ounces of Kentucky whiskey and half an ounce of lemon juice.

Meanwhile, you need to make a lemon-mint-eucalyptus tea infusion by adding a mint tea bag, lemon peel and a single eucalyptus leaf to a cup of hot water. Steep for fifteen minutes before straining.

Then, add the whiskey and lemon juice to your tea before garnishing with a fresh mint sprig. Et voila!

Gunpowder Gimlet

Let’s face it, gin always saves the day, even when it comes to iced tea cocktail recipes!

For this marvellous cocktail, all you need to do is pour 1 and a half ounces of green-tea infused gin, half an ounce of salted pistachio honey syrup and half an ounce of lemon juice into a cocktail shaker.

Shake super well, serve and drink up!

Irish Tea Party

When you want any kind of tea party, you always should turn to the Irish. This is never more true than it is when you want a tea party.

When St. Patrick’s Day swings around, this iced tea is a must.

To make it, pour quarter ounce of absinthe into a glass, and then tilt and rotate it before tipping it and swirling it. This allows the absinthe to cover the whole glass.

Once that’s done, pour out any absinthe that’s left before adding some ice and an ounce of Jameson’s Irish whiskey. Add four ounces of green tea and then serve. Delicious!

To make yourself a glass of tea tini, add one and half ounces of vodka, once ounce of iced tea, and a quarter ounce of lemon juice to a cocktail shaker before shaking. Add ice cubes, strain into a cocktail glass, sprinkle with sugar and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Mistletoe Martini 

Need a festive drink idea? This iced tea might be the perfect Christmas treat to warm you up this year.

For this iced tea cocktail recipe, pour two ounces of vodka, two ounces of orange juice, three ounces of cranberry tea and a half ounce of lemon juice into a cocktail shaker along with some ice and sugar. Shake before straining into your glasses.
