Discovery+ kicked off the Star Vs Food earlier in April with the beautiful Kareena Kapoor Khan. The new celebrity cooking show features weekly episodes of stars setting themselves up against the challenge of cooking a meal for their loved ones under the supervision of a professional chef. After Kareena, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, joining the star-studded lineup is Malaika Arora who visited her favourite restaurant Masque in Mumbai where Executive Chef and Co-owner Prateek Sadhu teaches Malaika Arora how to make Morel Yakhni and she in return uses her mother’s recipe to cook Malabar Fish Curry.
MALAIKA’S FOOD PHILOSOPHY
She admitted that though she is partial towards her healthy food, her comfort food is definitely her mother’s Malabar Fish Curry.
FILLET A FISH
Though Malaika enjoys cooking, she is not very keen on chopping and cutting part of the process. It is the first time she fillets a giant fish and quickly learns the technique.
MALAIKA’S SON LOVES COOKING
She, further, reveals that she cooks whenever she gets time. She recalled that she started cooking because of her son Arhaan Khan. “He once came back from school and told me ‘Mumma, all these other parents/moms cook such yummy stuff. You don’t know how to cook. It was one of those challenges took,” she said.

Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora along with her friends Preetha Sukhtankar and Sarvesh Shashi arrive as the special guests on the episode and praise her culinary skills. A lit bit of fun quiz takes place post devouring the delicious food that she cooked.
All in all, Star Vs Food featuring Malaika Arora is a decent watch as she shows a different side to herself on camera.
