Happy Tuesday everyone! Sorry I'm a day late here, but I really wanted to share my Beautylish Lucky Bag unboxing yesterday, so I thought I would put that up first!
I purchased the BKIND polish, the OPI polishes were received as PR samples
I have a bit of an easier mani this week because I had a busy weekend (despite nothing being open), but it was my oldest son's 16th birthday, so I was busy baking and prepping and spending time with the family!
But, I still can't start a new week without a new mani, so I did a quick nail look with a glitter ombre, that looks so pretty and takes no time at all!
I was really curious about trying the BKIND nail polish formula - they are made in Canada, are vegan and cruelty-free and all the formulas are 10-free, so they are a non-toxic formula! The whole brand is based on gentle, yet effective products!
Each polish is $16.00 CAN, and the shade I picked up is called "Seasure" and it's described as a deep dark, neutral blue - certainly it's very dark, almost black in two coats. With one coat it looks more blue, but the formula wasn't totally opaque. But, it applied well and is wearing well! I picked mine up while ordering from Without Co., a local Calgary low waste shop!
The other products I used for this mani are:
- OPI Infinite Shine Primer & Gloss
- OPI polish in Dreams on a Silver Platter
This mani was really simple to do - just started with a base coat and two coats of a base polish. Then, using the glitter polish, do a light coat pulling some small pieces down to about the centre of the nail. Go back a second time, concentrating more glitter on the tip of the nail. Then, finish with a base coat and voila, nice and easy!
As always, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their nails too!
